A seasoned banking and finance professional with over 20 years of experience spanning commercial and wholesale banking, with expertise in relationship management, credit, risk management, business development, client coverage and financial advisory.

He combines strong commercial judgement with analytical, strategic and problem-solving capabilities, and has extensive experience in business planning, strategy development and execution, client relationship management, product development, financial management and business analysis. He is highly organised, objective and solutions-oriented, with strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

His professional career began with the Nigeria Development Foundation, a human development think-tank, where he contributed to the development of proprietary business solutions, several of which subsequently formed part of the organisation's intellectual property portfolio.

He subsequently spent 20 years in banking, holding roles including Sales, Credit and Account Officer, Client Services Manager, Relationship Manager and Senior Client Coverage Manager. His banking experience includes Commercial and Wholesale Banking, with particular exposure to credit, risk management, sales, client services, relationship management and client coverage at GTBank and Standard Chartered Bank.

He is the Managing Partner of Platformate Consulting Ltd, an innovation-driven consulting firm focused on developing practical business solutions and supporting organisations with business and project evaluation, investment appraisal, risk-reward analysis, financial management, management accounting and strategic business advisory.

His professional interests include financial and corporate management, business strategy, organisational effectiveness, change management, customer experience, intellectual property, proprietary solutions, innovation and business process improvement.

He is also an inventor and creator of commercially oriented solutions across multiple sectors. His innovations include a patented multi-sector table soccer board game with applications in education, sports, recreation and entertainment, as well as other commercially viable intellectual property relating to business process improvements in sectors including Oil & Gas and Power.

Deroju holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting from the University of Ilorin and was at various times a student of a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Lagos and Masters in Financial Economics from the University of Abuja. His varied work experience spanning almost two and a half decades covers Audit, Non-Bank Finance, Business Consultancies (with a bias for MSMEs in Emerging Markets), Mortgage Banking, Oil and Gas Finance, Operations Management, Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Retail / Consumer Banking and Micro Finance.

His banking career at various times has seen him in various responsibilities and managerial positions in the customer service / banking operations, corporate, commercial and consumer banking functions.

With a banking career that started with Liberty Bank (now under the Fidelity Bank PLC group), he went on to play a major part in Guaranty Trust Bank PLC’s expansion and in-road into the FCT/North Central Nigeria economic sphere. His last two appointments involved the development of branch networks and coordination of branch retail activities for Guaranty Trust Bank PLC within cosmopolitan Abuja City and the very expansive and economically burgeoning surrounding area council (covering even to the University town of Gwagwalada). He was the founder and pioneer CEO of Pinnacle Micro Finance Bank Abuja.

He sits on the board of a few Nigerian companies with interests spanning Fintech and Insuretech, Agriculture, Banking and Wealth/Asset management, Real Estate and Infrastructural Development, Oil and Gas, Hospitality Management, Food Processing, Media Sports and Entertainment and Information Technology.

Deroju currently serves as COO/Partner at Hyers Capital Limited and is happily married with children.

Sakmicit Janfa has worked with the United Nations in Administration and Finance. Prior to that, she worked as an Operations Officer in an Emergency Centre of the Food and Agriculture Organisation in Nigeria where she was involved in Procurement, Budgeting and Financial Analysis. She has also worked as a Principal Officer in Delseven Ltd where she was involved in Management Consulting and Financial Advisory and as freelance consultant, offering business solutions and advising clients in small and medium scale enterprises.

She is a Principal Associate at Plaformate Consulting and has experience in the financial services industry working with Lion Bank/Diamond Bank in various functions including operations, internal control, credit and marketing and ARM pension fund in fund administration and internal control. She has a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Maiduguri and an MBA in International Business from the University of Coventry, UK.

She serves as an Executive Partner with Platformate Consulting Ltd.

Shuaib Adeadebayo is a financial and business analyst with over 10 years experience. His Accounting and Financial experience span Financial Reporting, Corporate Reporting, Auditing, Taxation, Performance Management, Fraud Examination and Financial Management with critical thinking and problem solving skills. He had his first degree in Accounting and Economics; he graduated as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN)and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), He is also a member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiner and Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.

He joined Temitope Adesina & Co. (Chartered Accountants) in 2005 as a Junior Audit Officer and rose to the position of Audit Senior. He subsequently joined the practice of Dimeji Olatunbosun & Co. (Chartered Accountants) as an Audit Manager in Abuja. He had a stint with Catholic Relief Services (a Non-Governmental Organization) as Finance and Compliance specialist.

His valuable contribution, dedication, knowledge and selfless service to humanity made him a key player in the Accounting Profession as a reknown ACCA/ICAN Lecturer with over 8 years lecturing experience. He is duly committed towards realizing the vision and goals of both ACCA and ICAN professional students. To his record, he has graduated more than 2,000 Chartered Accountants across various establishment like CBN, NDIC, CAC, EFCC, IFRS, SON to mention a few.

He was among the team of experts to convert The Cement Company of Northern Nigeria to IFRS and he has done conversion for Adamawa Homes & Saving Bank, among other accomplishments. He has trained FIRS staff on IFRS and Tax implication of IFRS. He currently works with Abuja Technology Village Free Zone Co. as the Finance and Account Lead. He is also a Financial Consultant/Accounting subject matter expert to Mavis Computel LTD and serves as an Executive Partner with Platformate Consulting Ltd. He is happily married.

He has a strong background in the Financial Services industry spanning Commercial and Corporate banking, Investment banking, sales and marketing of financial products, Investment and Financial advisory as well as possessing an excellent commercial approach to providing viable business solutions. With over 13 years of experience from various reputable financial institutions including GT Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and BGL PLC, He has held various positions covering Sales, Marketing, Credit, Business Development, Financial Advisory and Client Relationship Management.

His entire career has been focused on improving revenues, identifying potential talent resources building and managing strong sales teams with the mandate to ensure business growth by improving sales and general business operations. He is a purpose driven individual with very strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in the delivery of excellent customer service experience. He is an Executive Partner with Platformate Consulting Ltd.

We provided Consulting services to Nigeria’s First Christmas Village of Lights organised by JAV Events. Our services included preparation of pitch books for engagement with Sponsors, Leading Sponsorships engagements, Implementation Strategies, Cash Collection strategy, People Management and Risk Assessment. Provided Consulting Services to the Niger State Government. Our services covered Due Diligence, Risk Assessment and Cash Disbursement Solution structuring for the 2018 FLOOD RELIEF PROJECT whose purpose was to assist the Flood Victims in the State with special Intervention funds to ameliorate the effect of Flooding of their Farms in 2018. We achieved successful payments to over 5,000 farmers and their households across 12 Local Government Areas in the State.

A games and toys company specialising in creating multi-purpose, multi sector unique games and toys. We provided Intellectual Property Advisory services in 3 countries i.e. Nigeria, UK and China to secure the unique designs and idea for their flagship product – a table soccer board game.

Asah-Bara is a specialised Arts and Crafts Company based in Abuja. We provided Intellectual Property Advisory services for the client to secure their unique product and design offerings.
